Send Press Releases
There are a number of different ways to
send press releases, but some are more effective than others. You can write your
own releases and send them to your own contacts that you've nurtured over the
years, but that method doesn't help you grow. You could hire a publicist to send
your press releases for you, but you may be surprised by how little you get for
how much it costs.
CorporateNEWS provides our clients with an affordable, easy-to-use and powerful
method for sending press releases. We work with industries and businesses of
every type and size, from small businesses engaging in D.I.Y. publicity, to P.R.
firms working on behalf of their clients. CorporateNEWS is successful because it
gives you all the tools you need to send an effective press release.
The Anatomy of a Good Press Release
A press release is made up of three parts. The first part is the release itself,
a short piece of text announcing an honor, innovation or event of some kind.
Ideally, your release should only be about 200 words long. Of course, we won't
charge you for sending longer press releases. Some of our competitors charge a
per-word-fee on releases which exceed a pre-determined word limit, but we do
not. Next comes the easy-to-find contact information, including your name, phone
number and email address. This allows editors, writers and reporters to contact
you with questions. Believe it or not, some of our competitors will not include
your contact information when they send out your press release. Rather, they
list their own contact info, so that editors have to go through them to reach
you.
The third part of an online press release is a link to more information. Your
release should include a link which allows interested editors to quickly and
easily find all the information about your company they could ever want.
CorporateNEWS provides each of our customers with his own information center.
This information center is a great addendum to your website, since it includes
only that information of interest to the media. You can post photos, Word or PDF
documents or even an Excel Spread Sheet on your Information Center. The
Information Center is included at no extra cost.
